At Realtime Flower Brisbane we are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect about you and how the information is used. What information do we collect and why do we collect it?
When you join the Realtime Flower Brisbane, you will provide us with some personal details, including your name, mailing address, e-mail address, contact numbers and some trading details.

Upon registration, you will be assigned a Member ID number and password. Use of the ID and password renders anonymity when participating in the auction unless you disclose this to another party. We will not use or disclose an identifier assigned to an individual unless required by law. To enable payments from the Auction to be made to growers, we also collect details about the bank account that you would like the payment paid.

We don’t collect personal information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership, or details of health, disability or sexual activity or orientation

How do we collect personal information?
We collect information about you through your registration and through various other forms including your e-mails and auction transactions.

How do we use information we collect?
Generally, we only use personal information that we collect from you for the purpose of managing your registration and participation in the auction, to auction flowers, plants and plant products and to occasionally notify you about important changes to the Auction and its products or other new products which you might find valuable and to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customised experience while using our services.

By registering with the Realtime Flower Brisbane, you expressly consent to our use of your information. If you choose to bid, buy or sell using the auction system we may collect information about your bidding, buying and selling behaviour.

We will not sell your information to any other company or release any information about you unless required by law.

Do we disclose your personal information to anyone?
Generally, we do not disclose your personal information to another party. RTFB may disclose your personal information in certain circumstances including:

• If there is a dispute about a transaction, we may disclose personal information about you< to other experts such as legal advisers.
• If we are required or authorised by law to disclose your personal information. For example, we may disclose your personal information to the Australian Taxation Office following a direction issued under taxation laws or to a Court in response to a subpoena.
• When you give us written permission to do so eg: for trade or credit reference checks. We may use third party providers that have their own privacy policies. We do not control such third parties and encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.
